In collaboration with Naples Parks and Recreation, Poetic Films will showcase its largest night-time outdoor projection mapping project to date at the Norris Community Center in downtown Naples, 755 8th Avenue South. The Good Natured public art installations are produced to connect the public with audio/visual experiences focused on nature. The free two-night public art exhibition will present a new film created specifically to fit the shape of the distinctive building architecture on Friday, March 17 and Saturday, March 18 from 8 -9 p.m.
The Good Natured series is a public engagement art project addressing nature and the environment using large-scale multi-media effects including audio-video, photography and animation with video/ projection mapping. Projection mapping is a video projection technique that creates the optical illusion of 3D effects on an object or building. In recent years the public has become curious about video mapping due to the popularity of the Van Gogh immersive installations. The artistic play with light transforms most surfaces into an immersive, attention-grabbing canvas creating a memorable experience captivating people of all ages
