Southwest Florida Annual Juried Painting Exhibition

Natural Selections: 2023 Painting Annual

Friends of Rookery Bay (FORB) and the United Arts Collier (UAC) are seeking submissions for their painting annual. This exhibit is held at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center located at 300 Tower Road, Naples, FL 34113. Rookery Bay, part of the National Estuarine Research Reserve. 

This exhibit is open to artists residing in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Henry and Lee counties, both full-time and seasonal. All work must be original; no giclées are permitted for sale. Your piece must be able to be put up for sale if chosen to exhibit. Paintings should reflect and/or express the essence of Florida’s flora and fauna. 

There is a non-refundable entry fee of $30 per application ($20 for current UAC and FORB members). Entry fee must be made via the PayPal link below or over the phone. 

Awards

$300 for the Best in Show

$200 for The Juror’s Choice Award

$100 for United Arts Collier Merit Award

Winners will be chosen by the juror the day of the reception after reviewing the exhibit. Results will be announced at the opening reception. - Award checks will be processed through ACH Payments (wire transfer) from a UAC secure portal link.

Opening Reception: November 2nd, 5:30-7:00 p.m.

‍Pick-up Artwork: February 2nd & 3rd, 2024 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
