About The Centers For The Arts Bonita Springs

Founded in 1959, the Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs (CFABS) is committed to enriching the lives of the community by providing opportunities for artistic expression, education and appreciation. CFABS has two campus locations-each dedicated to the visual or performing arts.

The Visual Arts Center, 26100 Old 41 Road, is comprised of multiple fine art galleries and fully equipped art studios, a gift store, library and beautiful sculpture gardens. A variety of classes are offered at this center, including painting, drawing, pottery and sculpture.

The Performing Arts Center, 10150 Bonita Beach Road, is home to the 400-seat Hinman Auditorium and the 200-seat Moe Auditorium & Film Center. At this diverse center, patrons can enjoy an ongoing array of live music, theatre, comedy, film, lectures and youth & adult classes in art, music, theatre and dance.

Arts For All

Seeking to serve the educational and cultural needs of our diverse communities, the Centers for the Arts offers year-round programming in visual and performing arts.  We facilitate opportunities by providing artistic experiences—classes, workshops, panel discussions, lectures, performances and educational art events like our National Art Festivals. We empower by creating a platform for progress, supporting the work of artists of all ages, encouraging an inclusive dialog and promoting equality for all.

Mission

The Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs is committed to enrich the culture of our diverse community by providing opportunities for artistic expression, education and appreciation in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Vision Values

Our vision is fulfilled through programs in the visual and performing arts. Art builds bridges between communities, generations and nationalities. It serves as a common denominator among all economic groups and stimulates local economies. By instilling individuals with a feeling of self-worth and confidence, art encourages positive attitudes and helps people cope with change. Art can be therapeutic. It opens people's minds to new possibilities and their hearts to new understanding. A catalyst for friendships, art provides a foundation for shared experience.
